Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic tests and interventional procedures by assisting physicians and operating advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment to capture critical cardiac and vascular data. Maintain 1:1 patient ratio in an interventional environment while providing sedation and circulation competency. Work 40 hours per week in variable shift lengths, including on-call weekends and eight call shifts per four-week period. Requires two years of Cath Lab experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and familiarity with Xper, Philips, and Impella systems. Supports cardiology, vascular, and interventional radiology patients in a dynamic clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Sedation competency
- Circulation competency
- Ability to work 40 hours per week with variable daily shift lengths
- Ability to function in a 1:1 patient ratio in an interventional environment
- On-call weekends
- 8 call shifts in a 4-week period
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Xper and Philips imaging systems
- Experience with balloon pump
- Experience with Impella
- Experience with Epic/Cupid EMR
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) from CCI
- Recording competency
- Self-motivated and team-oriented professional
