Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures by assisting physicians, operating advanced medical equipment to capture images and hemodynamic data, and managing scrub and pan table workflows. Provide specialized procedural support for conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, and pacemaker procedures in a Level II trauma center with four cath lab rooms. Work a 3x12 shift pattern without floating, supporting a daily case volume of 20–25 patients while utilizing resources like advanced hemodynamic monitoring and PACS.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Interventional Cath Lab experience
- Experience with STEMI/NSTEMI
- Experience with LHC/RHC
- Experience with CHF
- Experience with Angina
- Experience with ACS
- Experience with Afib
- Experience with IABP/Impella
- Experience with CTOs
- Experience with staged/protected PCI
- Experience with pericardiocentesis
- Experience with temporary pacers
- Experience with scrub and pan table workflow
- Experience with groin site management
- Experience with monitoring
- Experience with Medrad power injectors
- Experience with pacemaker procedures
- State specific licensing when required
- 3x12 shift pattern
- No floating required
- 24 hours classroom orientation for new or returning travelers gone 1+ years
- 1–3 clinical shifts of unit orientation as needed
