Job Summary
The Technologist assists the physician during invasive cardiology procedures and provides patient care to invasive cardiology patients, including acquisition and reduction of pertinent procedural information. Delivers didactic and clerical training to employees and CVT students. Care covers adolescents (13–17), adults (18–64), and geriatric patients (>64).
Required Qualifications
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or registry eligible (by an authorized accredited Cardiovascular Association) RCIS to be obtained within 2 years of hire
- BCLS Certification, must be completed prior to end of orientation period
- ACLS Certification
