Job Summary
Performs direct and indirect functions in the cardiac cath Lab; assists physicians and staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care. Scrubs, monitors, and circulates in all invasive procedures in the Cath Lab; department provides training on Structural Heart scrubbing. Able to function on all cardiac alerts and STEMI cases. On-call assignment with after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage; response within 30 minutes of alert. Four-person team for both working hours and on-call teams (1 Scrub, 1 RT, 1 circulating RN, 1 Monitoring personnel). Equipment includes Philips x-ray, Acist injectors, Philips IVUS/iFR, Xper Monitoring System, and Spacetrax Inventory System.
