Job Summary
Cath Lab Technician performing technical and patient care in the Cardiac Cath Laboratory. Communicates continuously with the physician about patient condition; assists the physician during invasive and noninvasive procedures; operates all equipment safely and correctly; assesses the procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness; obtains supplies for individual cases; ensures the Cardiac Cath Laboratory team needs are met; participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities; authorized to be in the presence of medications.
