Job Summary
Cath Lab Tech RCIS primary responsibility is to assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under physician supervision. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, acting as monitor tech interpreting basic/advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs, Scrub tech support, acting as circulator during procedures, assisting with patient transport, stocking and maintaining cath lab supplies, ensuring sterile technique, preparing lab and patient for procedures, and troubleshooting equipment. Requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience, AHA ACLS certification, RCIS within 18 months or ARRT/TX RT(R) in lieu, and is based at Methodist Celina Medical Center in Celina, TX (Grayson County) with on-site day shift and on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certified within eighteen (18) months of date of hire (or ARRT and TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS)
