Job Summary
Conduct invasive cardiovascular procedures as a monitor, scrub, or circulator tech under physician direction. Interpret dysrhythmias and EKGs, operate imaging equipment, and manage sterile technique for patient prep and post-procedure safety. Assist with patient transport, supply inventory control, and troubleshoot equipment. Teach and orient students and new staff while monitoring patient status and maintaining hemostasis. Requires AHA ACLS certification, ARRT/TX RT(R) or RCIS, and 8X5 day shift with on-call rotation. Methodist Celina Medical Center serves as the region's first full-service hospital with plans for expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
Desired Qualifications
- RCIS certified within eighteen (18) months of date of hire
