Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS assists with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision, including acting as a monitor tech, scrub tech, and circulator in the cath lab. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, interpreting basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs, maintaining sterile technique, preparing and stocking the lab, assisting with patient transport, and teaching/orienting staff and students. Requires completing RCIS within 18 months (or ARRT TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS), and maintaining AHA ACLS certification, with a degree in science or equivalent healthcare experience. Hours are Day On Call, M-F, 8x5 shift, at Methodist Celina Medical Center (Anna, TX area).
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor7 degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certification within eighteen (18) months of date of hire OR ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
- Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)
