Job Summary
Provide peri-procedural nursing care in a 2-room Cath/IR/EP/Vascular Lab performing approximately 9 cases per day. Ensure proper performance and maintenance of cath lab equipment and supplies. Assess patient needs and promote a safe surgical environment while circulating and scrubbing for procedures including left and right heart cath/PCI, PM/ICD implants, structural heart, TEE/CV, and various IR interventions. Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesia, and the multidisciplinary team. Document care accurately and timely. Demonstrate flexibility to meet unit needs and participate in a three-person call team with mixed scrubs and nurses. Call frequency is approximately 10–12 days per month.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active Montana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC/compact) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
- Proficient English language oral and written communication skills
- Flexible availability to cover varied shifts, weekends, and call responsibilities
- Call frequency approximately 10–12 days per month
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with vascular and electrophysiology procedures
- Experience with Philips Xray/Xper Hemo imaging equipment and Meditech EMR
