Job Summary
Cath Lab Registered Nurse responsible for delivering and coordinating professional nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to patients and families. Provides leadership to facilitate care, delegates and supervises care, and supports teaching. Role supports a Cath Lab and critical care/cardiac focus; shift is 7:00 am–5:30 pm with call obligations (1 day and 1 weekend every 6 weeks) and must be within 30 minutes of the facility. Eligible for a sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment. Emphasis on leveraging SPOT technology for early sepsis detection and Enhanced Surgical Recovery to reduce opioid use and readmissions. Required Qualifications
- One year of RN experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in BSN with obligation to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire
- Current RN licensure with North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) or eNLC license (verify with NCBON)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Masters in Nursing preferred
