Job Summary
Conduct high-quality diagnostic vascular laboratory examinations using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment to evaluate cerebrovascular, peripheral arterial, and venous systems. Prepare patients for procedures, administer and document medications, and utilize the hospital electronic medical record to enter preliminary reporting and document critical findings. Contact referring physicians for clarification if exam orders appear incorrect and adhere to infection control policies and safety initiatives. Demonstrate proficiency in non-invasive vascular exams while working within an interdisciplinary team to perform medical screenings, medication reconciliation, and care planning.
Required Qualifications
- Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
- Associate's from an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accredited institute

- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support- American Heart Association
- Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT)
- Vascular-Interventional Radiology R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT)
- State Licensure
- 1 year experience in radiology with surgery experience in use of CR
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Picture archiving communication system (PACS)
