Job Summary
As a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist, you will operate diagnostic fluoroscopy and cardiac equipment, monitor patient vitals, perform routine calculations, and assist physicians during procedures. Essential duties include setting up procedure rooms, ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards, conducting patient hemodynamic monitoring, and managing patient documentation. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS, while a registered technologist credential and a degree in radiologic sciences are necessary. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, which may involve flexible work schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in radiologic sciences
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice
- Registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences
- 2 years of experience as an allied health professional
