Job Summary
Cath Lab Manager oversees the daily clinical operations of invasive labs (Cath, EP, Device, Hybrid and Interventional Radiology) and collaborates with cardiology, radiology, vascular surgery, and trauma services to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include coordinating services across departments, developing policies and procedures for cardiovascular services, supervising staff and performance evaluations, conducting patient rounds and chart/clinical documentation reviews, assisting with ACC data collection and quality/performance improvement initiatives, troubleshooting imaging and monitoring equipment, developing department budgets, implementing safety and infection-control standards, and ensuring regulatory reporting and revenue capture. The role emphasizes process improvement, staff development, and partnership with medical directors to engage physicians.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years Invasive Cardiology or Interventional Radiology experience
- Associates degree or two-year Radiologic Technology certification, or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Radiography Certification
- Radiology Technician licensure
- Possibly Louisiana licensure requirements per facility
