Job Summary
Evaluate patients for peripheral vascular disease by selecting effective procedures and performing appropriate diagnostic tests. Monitor patient comfort and safety during procedures, alerting physicians to abnormalities, and accurately position patients while selecting technical parameters. Record test results, ensure prompt PACS submission with correct lead markers and patient data, and maintain equipment and supplies in proper working condition. Keep the department clean and orderly, including procedure rooms and storage areas, while ensuring all activities comply with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- General Radiography
- State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate'sdegree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- Weekend call
- Holiday call
