Job Summary
Assist the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures while administering direct and indirect care to patients undergoing these interventions. Maintain thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP equipment and its maintenance. Provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures. Requires a graduate of an RN, RCIS, or RCES program with two years of Cath Lab Tech experience. Must hold current RN, RCIS, or RCES licensure, along with BCLS and ACLS certifications. Based at Piedmont Henry Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program
- 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire
- RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire
- RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS
