Job Summary
Lead a six-lab Cath Lab/EP service at UH Cleveland Medical Center as Nurse Manager, overseeing scheduling, staffing, billing, EPIC/charting, and supply chain for high-volume structural heart and ablation procedures; collaborates with 20 physicians, ensures lab utilization, and guides a team of 32 Cath/EP lab nurses and radiology staff. Requires a Master's degree with RN/BSN, and at least two years of extensive Cath/EP lab experience, plus Epic, Excel, and medical billing knowledge. Prior management experience is preferred. The role reports to the System Director of Cath and EP Labs within the Harrington Heart and Vascular Institute and emphasizes staff engagement, interdepartmental collaboration, and operational excellence in a major academic center.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- RN
- BSN
- at least two years of extensive Cath or EP lab experience
- experience in a large, busy lab or academic center
- proficiency with Epic (EPIC)
- proficiency with Excel for statistics and spreadsheets
- knowledge of medical billing
- supply ordering and inventory management
- structural heart experience a significant advantage
- some management experience (e.g., Assistant Nurse Manager) preferred
