Job Summary
Oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients, advocate for staff, and coach on competency, documentation, equipment use, and National Patient Safety Goals. Evaluate care provided by staff, prepare work schedules, assign personnel, and coordinate patient flow to ensure timely, effective care. Utilize the nursing process to assess physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while managing ethical dilemmas and obtaining Ethics Consults. Requires two years RN experience, BLS and ACLS certification, and an Associate degree in Nursing. Full-time position at Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, AZ, offering $10k relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty and/or charge nurse experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing
- Registered Nurse: AZ (RN:AZ)
- Basic Life Support - CPR (AHA-BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Skilled Working Knowledge of the EMR and hospital systems
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- CVICU experience for Critical Care Charge Nurse
