Job Summary
Perform imaging procedures according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment regarding exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment. Operate Emanuel Cath Lab x-ray table equipment with proficiency in product inventory management. Provide highest quality care using advanced technologies for diagnosis and treatment in Cardiovascular and Hybrid labs. Maintain current state licensure (LRT), national registration (ARRT-R), and BLS/ACLS certifications. Work within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment featuring new equipment and an ideal layout.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program
- Current applicable state licensure for Radiological Technologist (LRT)
- Current national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R)
- BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS required for Level I within six months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Level I - One-year previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization preferred
- Level II - 1-year of previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization
- Level II - applicable state LRT and ARRT-R
- Level II - You must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Emanuel Cath Lab x-ray table equipment
- Level II - demonstrate knowledge of Emanuel Cath Lab product inventory
- Level III - 2-years previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization
- Level III - You must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Emanuel Cath Lab x-ray table equipment
- Level III - demonstrate knowledge of Emanuel Cath Lab product inventory
- Level IV - 3-years of previous experience in the field of Angiography/ Catheterization
- Level IV - You must demonstrate expert proficiency in the operation of Emanuel Cath Lab x-ray table and equipment
- Level IV - demonstrate expert knowledge of Emanuel Cath Lab product inventory
- RCIS, CI, VI
- Current American Heart Association BLS
- Advanced certification (RCIS, CI, VI) preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must demonstrate proficiency in equipment operation and knowledge of product inventory by level of experience (1-4)
