Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Technician position in El Campo, TX for Caterpillar equipment, performing shop and field service to diagnose, repair, and maintain Caterpillar construction machinery. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Caterpillar and allied-brand equipment, performing diagnostics with Cat ET and software tools, servicing electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and undercarriage systems, completing preventative maintenance and parts installation, and restoring equipment to working condition in shop or field settings. Requires owning necessary tools, a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of transmissions/undercarriage/fuel/electrical/hydraulic systems, and experience with Cat ET or similar diagnostic software. Required Qualifications
