Catering Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee catering for Quest accounts, managing event planning, execution, booking and billing; lead catering staff, ensure safety and sanitation (HACCP standards), and support the Food Service Director in training and development. Maintain back-office functions (mealtime entry, client invoicing, payroll), adhere to deadlines, and uphold high standards of customer service and professional communication with clients. Drive continuous improvement by introducing new concepts, ensuring SOP compliance, and delivering exceptional client experiences across catering engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of food service or catering experience and prior experience in a lead role
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Solid knowledge of financials
- Proficient in MS Office
- Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements
- High attention to detail assuring all events are executed exceeding client expectations
- Organizational skills, menu costing, financial knowledge and team leadership are imperative
- Demonstrated ability to consistently communicate a clear understanding of internal and external customer expectations and adapt as appropriate to exceed their needs
