Catering Specialist - Plum Market

Job Summary
Process catering and food delivery orders, including online ordering, special events, and corporate clients. Prepare, review, and distribute BEOs with accurate information to teams, then follow up to confirm receipt and expectations. Maintain accurate menus, pricing, and item details while generating client menus with labor and order specifics. Assist with event planning, setup, breakdown, and driver logistics, ensuring equipment and supplies are organized and accounted for. Complete final checks on all orders before they leave the building and process invoices and sales data accurately. Support staff with appearance standards and help train Team Members. Follow up with clients post-event to gather feedback and grow the guest base. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to provide and model exceptional Guest and client service
- Ability to sell Catering services and support growth of the Catering Guest and client base
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- A strong understanding of Catering operations, Food Service, Online Ordering, and Special Events
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with Guests, Team Members, Store Leadership, Prepared Foods, and Catering leadership
- Ability to delegate, follow up, and ask for help or guidance when needed
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break
- Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite preferred
- Experience with catering systems, BEOs, menu updates, event planning, and order processing preferred
- An associate's degree in Catering, Food Service, or a related field strongly preferred
- Minimum of two years of catering, food service, or related leadership experience preferred
- Excellent driving record preferred
