Job Summary
Catering Specialist coordinates catering orders, including pickup and delivery, guides guests through menu offerings and pricing, leads planning of menus, confirms event details prior to date, and ensures accurate execution and hospitable service throughout the catering process. Responsibilities include coordinating with the restaurant team for catering pickups/deliveries, training the Assistant Catering Specialist on service standards, addressing guest questions or concerns, staying informed about marketing and promotions, and attending local events to grow brand awareness. The role emphasizes delivering a hospitable, festive experience aligned with Fogo de Chão’s hospitality and Brazilian churrasco traditions. Required Qualifications
- Must be pleasant with guests and team members
- Must be physically capable of basic duties and able to endure prolonged walking and standing
- Must have 2 years of experience in a Restaurant/Retail/Hospitality Customer Service position
- Must be knowledgeable of Fogo’s menu and mission
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and drive a vehicle
- Must have valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Must be able to use personal vehicle for deliveries and offsite events
