Catering Sous Chef leads kitchen operations for on-site and off-site catering, supervising staff, managing inventory and food costing, and coordinating with event planners to ensure high-quality, visually appealing dishes and seamless service at corporate functions, weddings, and social events. Responsible for training and developing team members, optimizing prep workflows, maintaining food safety standards, overseeing menu development and tastings, directing on-site culinary operations at events, and ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality from raw product to final service.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen
- 1+ years of kitchen management experience
- Valid driver's license and a minimum of three years of safe driving history
- ServSafe certification required
