Job Summary
Provide guests with a winning experience in dining venues through excellent service while ensuring the entrance remains attractive, clean, and well-maintained. Notify appropriate staff members when assistance is needed and demonstrate an upbeat, outgoing demeanor throughout shifts. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies, and control protocols to promote outstanding customer relations. Perform other related duties as assigned by the reporting senior. Requires knowledge of food and beverage sanitation, guest service, cash control, and point-of-sale systems. Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems in varied situations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years of work experience in job dealing in person and on the telephone directly with guests
- Knowledge and skills needed to safely prepare and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with internal policies and external regulations and/or laws
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, point of sale systems, credit card/players club card systems, cash, etc.
- Knowledge in food and beverage sanitation, guest service, cash control policies, practices, and protocols
- Ability to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school or formal apprenticeship
- High school diploma or GED preferred
