Job Summary
Catering Server / Driver responsible for transporting meals from Fare Kitchen to the client location in a company-provided van, setting up and breaking down daily meal services, replenishing snacks and beverages, hosting within client spaces, and ensuring a clean, welcoming hospitality environment. Role may involve cross-training in basic culinary techniques. Requires 2+ years in kitchen/hospitality, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Oakland-based with shift schedule Mon–Fri (8:30am–4:30pm on select days); compensation $22–$23/hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, communication & patience
- Attendance & punctuality is required with schedule flexibility determined by needs
- Ability to be self-sufficient & make sound decisions on-the-fly
- Understanding & knowledge of safety, sanitation & food handling procedures
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and support with loading items in and out of van
- Basic Food Handler Certification
