Job Summary
Catering Sanitation Agent in Cleveland, OH is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards within catering and commissary operations. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing commissary, warehouse, and food preparation areas; ensuring compliance with food safety policies and regulatory requirements; inspecting and handling deliveries; supporting inventory and equipment setup; maintaining safety and security of catering and warehouse areas; and communicating effectively with team members to support operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Required capabilities include reading/writing/speaking English, ability to obtain required airport and security clearances, background check and drug screen, and the flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts; prior experience in catering, food service, warehouse, or sanitation roles is preferred. The role may involve operating equipment such as forklifts and catering vehicles and requires adherence to Safety Management System procedures and company standards.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the country of employment
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Ability to work onsite and in operational environments
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to obtain and maintain required airport and security clearances
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow safety procedures and food handling guidelines
- Ability to operate equipment relevant to the position (e.g., forklifts, catering vehicles) preferred
- Previous experience in catering, food service, warehouse, or sanitation roles preferred
- Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
