Job Summary
Prospect, close, and facilitate catering business opportunities while ensuring revenue goals are achieved through proactive sales initiatives and client retention. Prepare proposals and contracts to maximize profit, respond to Request For Proposals (RFPs), and communicate booked client requests via Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to all departments. Conduct market research to align with industry trends, follow up on new leads, and attend networking events to serve as a brand advocate. Maintain proper information flow, review sales files, and assist with monthly booking reports to improve management decision-making. Ensure maximum occupancy through follow-ups with event services teams and meeting planners while delivering the Radisson experience through genuine hospitality and resolving guest problems with empathy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum one - three years hotel catering or convention experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- General knowledge of contract laws
- Local market knowledge
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Delphi and/or Opera
- Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
- Lift, carry, or otherwise move and use of force or exertion up to 75 lbs
- Use of manual dexterity of common office equipment

- Ability to work seven days a week, 24 hours a day
- Willingness to move associates from accustomed shift and alter assigned duties as business dictates
