Job Summary
Catering Sales Manager for a 190-room Renaissance Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel responsible for selling 12,000 sq. ft of indoor/outdoor meeting and event space. Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize catering/banquet revenue, write and implement yearly/monthly plans, book function space including A/V and F&B, build client relationships, conduct onsite tours, respond to inquiries within 24 business hours, and collaborate with F&B, Housekeeping, and Front Office to deliver a high-level client experience. Requires strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills; knowledge of CI/TY and BEO processes; travel to local trade shows may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience preferred
- One to Three years with hotel banquet/catering sales preferred
- Highly developed communication skills to present, negotiate, sell and influence clients
