Catering Sales Executive - W Barcelona

Catering Sales Executive leads the full commercial process for banqueting and event enquiries at W Barcelona, driving revenue and acting as the senior liaison to clients and internal teams. The role oversees the lifecycle from proactive prospecting and high-level client engagement to contract negotiation, event planning oversight, and cross-department coordination, ensuring flawless execution and elevated guest experiences. Responsibilities include leading site inspections, negotiating contracts and terms, ensuring enquiry handling aligns with W brand standards, managing small-scale and short-lead events, guiding the wedding planning journey, maintaining response timelines (24 hours), coordinating with Group Sales to maximize hotel revenue, optimizing revenue through minimum consumptions and pricing considerations, participating in advanced sales trainings, documenting enquiries in BEOS, overseeing deposits and 100% prepayment prior to event arrival, and collaborating across departments to support revenue management and client satisfaction. Proficient bilingual communication in Spanish and English, strong leadership and analytical capabilities, and experience with Opera Sales & Catering and PMS systems are required.
