Job Summary
Catering Sales Executive responsible for participating in customer site inspections and assisting the sales process; managing revenue and profitability for conferencing and events; identifying and communicating revenue opportunities; developing catering menus and additional products to sell; staying updated on market trends via councils and trade journals; introducing new products or services to boost revenue and competitiveness; negotiating prices and service agreements with vendors; developing relationships with outside vendors to enhance event experiences and generate additional revenue; attending projection meetings for long-term planning; leading on-the-job training and maintaining open, collaborative team relationships; requires Bachelor’s Degree, minimum 2 years’ related experience, fluent English, and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
