Job Summary
Catering Transportation Supervisor at PrimeFlight Aviation Services oversees daily transportation and catering operations for flight services in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating activities, assigning tasks, monitoring flight operations for safety and timeliness, conducting pre-arrival and departure briefings, ensuring compliance with company, airline, and regulatory SOPs, overseeing aircraft loading, enforcing PPE and uniform standards, supporting SMS processes, completing safety reports, maintaining operational documentation, coordinating catering, commissary, and equipment needs, managing staffing and scheduling, communicating updates to leadership, providing training and coaching, ensuring SLA compliance, promoting a safe work environment, and performing additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain required airport and security clearances
- Ability to obtain necessary airport vehicle operator permits
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within strict time constraints
- Ability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to complete required airline and company training programs
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
- Professional demeanor with the ability to handle situations tactfully and diplomatically
- Pass a background check and drug screen
