Job Summary
Meet with clients to produce Food & Beverage Sales by soliciting business in specific market segments and scheduling conventions. Develop and maintain account files, preparation of scheduled bookings, and event information dissemination to facilitate services with kitchen and banquet departments. Implement catering and marketing strategies to maximize hotel profits while maintaining customer satisfaction. Interface daily with internal teams to coordinate client needs and assist with clerical work including correspondence and reports.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- 1+ year Catering and/or Wedding Sales experience
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards
- Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 6 hours per day
- Must be able to walk up to a quarter of a mile
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments and locations of the resort on a timely basis
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to perceive the nature of sound with or without a correction
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discriminations in sound
- Vision for near vision and depth perception
- Finger dexterity to operate office equipment
- Ability to comply with rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel's facilities
