Catering Manager

Job Summary
Oversee budget and catering accountability for one complex location or across a unit if volume is under $100K; meet with clients and collaborate with culinary team to plan menus, guest counts, timelines, and pricing; lead and assist chefs and catering staff before/after events; develop catering systems for growth and customer service excellence, and manage cost control, billing, and reporting; drive high-volume operations, staffing, financial performance, and operational excellence while building relationships with clients, guests, and team members.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in catering management
- degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary, or related field preferred
- Skilled in planning and executing catered events, managing client expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ability to manage budgets, cost control, pricing, billing, and sales reporting for catered events
- Experience supervising catering operations, developing menus, implementing systems, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and manage catering staff to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency
