Job Summary
The Catering Manager role oversees all company catering service operations, including managing multiple events such as breakfasts, lunches, and other functions to meet client expectations with 100% accuracy and timeliness. The position focuses on ensuring client and customer satisfaction while achieving client and company financial objectives, with responsibilities that include managing the team and daily events, coordinating ordering and inventory, training and coaching staff, delivering exemplary customer service, and developing lasting client relationships. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and the ability to execute menu orders accurately and on time, while contributing to budgeted financial results.
Required Qualifications
- 4-8 years of high volume catering management experience in corporate dining or high end hospitality industry venues
- Experience with Catertrax or similar program
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Lifting and moving of food, food containers and other non-food items weighing 35 pounds
- Great references and solid work history
- Adhere to client and company protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards
- Professional personal presentation
- Ability to manage, train, coaching and counseling staff
- Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills
- Communication skills: clear, professional, effective
- Ability to manage multiple events
- Develop client and customer relationships
- Deliver budgeted financial results
