Job Summary
Coordinate and prepare catering for MAIC programs, room rentals, community gatherings, and external events from planning through execution. Work alongside the Executive Chef and FOH Manager on event timelines, staffing, and delivery logistics. Supervise café staff during set-up, service, and breakdown while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Assist with menu planning based on client needs and ensure catering equipment, van, and supplies are organized and maintained. Valid driver's license and ServSafe Food Manager certification required. This mission-driven workplace at the Minneapolis American Indian Center is dedicated to the well-being of the American Indian community.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional kitchen or food service experience
- Valid driver license
- ServSafe Food Manager Certificate
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate
