Job Summary
Catering Houseperson responsible for precise event setup and breakdown per Banquet Event Orders (BEO), maintaining cleanliness of function spaces, and handling banquet equipment. Tasks include reading BEOs to configure function rooms, knowing the locations and setups of function spaces, setting up and breaking down departments’ functions efficiently, safely handling and storing equipment, reporting damages to the Catering Service Manager, checking electrical hookups, taping down exposed cords, and maintaining overall space cleanliness. The role requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, perform deep cleaning as needed, and provide guest assistance while coordinating with supervisors to address requests beyond the role.”,
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
- Read and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEO)
- Set up and break down function rooms according to BEO specifications
- Knowledge of function room locations and setup variations
