Catering & Events Coordinator

Job Summary
Serve as the primary contact for all event inquiries, responding promptly to prospective guests and managing the complete event process from initial consultation through post-event follow-up. Develop, coordinate, and execute memorable experiences across lodging, dining, and destination amenities, including corporate events, retreats, weddings, and seasonal celebrations. Identify new revenue opportunities by creating and promoting event packages while partnering with Accommodations, Restaurant, and other departments to ensure seamless execution. Maintain accurate records of bookings, budgets, and guest feedback, and collaborate with leadership to drive growth and optimize facility utilization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in event coordination, hospitality management, sales, customer experience, or a related field
- Proven experience planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept through completion
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to generate sales opportunities and build client relationships
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage timelines, budgets, and logistics
- Passion for hospitality, creating memorable experiences, and representing a destination brand
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, especially for scheduled events
- Ability to adjust schedule based on event needs and guest commitments
