A Dining Room Manager at Upper Montclair Country Club will oversee dining operations for private banquets, business and social events, and member-related activities. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing contracts, coordinating banquet and a la carte service, ensuring high standards of hospitality and appearance, managing event budgets and forecasting, and maintaining relationships with members and clients. The role involves hands-on management on the club floor, open/close shifts, and contributing to decor, menu and beverage planning, vendor coordination, and event execution (including weddings and ceremonies). Strong focus on client communication, space utilization, sales, and ensuring every event meets member expectations while leading dining-room staff and supporting A la Carte service when needed.
