Job Summary
Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, linens, chairs, and temporary bar stations. Greet guests, provide beverage service, mix cocktails, and verify identification while monitoring alcohol consumption. Serve food, replenish buffets, pass hors d'oeuvres, and maintain cleanliness throughout the venue. Communicate dietary restrictions to team members and process payments as needed. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety procedures in fast-paced environments. Requires TIPS certification, age 21+, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Current TIPS Certification required
- Working knowledge of standard drink recipes, spirits, wine, and beer
- Working knowledge of bar equipment and beverage service procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and Saturdays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry items up to 30 pounds
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record preferred
