Job Summary
Provide exceptional food and beverage service for private dining events, banquets, and special functions while setting up, stocking, and breaking down bars and beverage stations. Prepare bars with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware to execute events successfully, reviewing Banquet Event Orders and seeking clarification as needed. Monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly in compliance with OLCC requirements and respond to guest needs promptly while communicating concerns to the Banquet Captain or Catering Manager. Maintain proper pour control, ensure service stations remain clean and stocked, and collaborate with Catering, Sales, Kitchen, and other departments for seamless execution.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of full-service bartending experience
- Valid Oregon Food Handler Card
- Valid OLCC Service Permit
- Required availability for key club events and holidays, including Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and the Annual Meeting
Desired Qualifications
- Previous banquet, catering, hospitality, or private dining experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of food and beverage service operations
