Job Summary
Catering team member in Wet'n'Wild Hawaii's catering department, performing food-prep tasks and line-cook duties. Responsibilities include operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers; prepping ingredients (portioning, chopping, storing); cooking and monitoring food quality; cleaning and disinfecting kitchen areas and equipment; and setting up/breaking down work stations. Requires proven prep-cook experience, knowledge of health and safety rules, ability to use kitchen tools, teamwork, and a positive, fast-paced work ethic.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as prep cook
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- Able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
- A team player with good communication skills
- Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure in a fast paced fast food restaurant
- Very good physical condition and endurance
- Dependable
- High school diploma or equivalent
