Job Summary
Assist with event setup, food service, and breakdown for catering, banquets, meetings, and special functions. Prepare serving stations, buffet lines, and beverage areas while replenishing food, utensils, and supplies. Serve guests and maintain cleanliness of service areas following food safety and sanitation procedures. Communicate with teams and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Perform additional duties as assigned. This part-time role at Wicked Whisk offers a $15 hourly rate with tip eligibility and includes 401(k) matching. Certification is preferred, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items required for catering operations
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days as needed
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous catering, banquet, hospitality, restaurant, or food service experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Food Handler certification preferred or ability to obtain if required
