Job Summary
Read and understand banquet event orders to provide fine-dining-level food and beverage service consistent with established standards. Initiate and maintain professional contact with guests while anticipating needs, and setup and maintain food and beverage stations across various building locations. Maintain inventory for stations and keep all event areas and front-of-house staging tidy and organized. Participate in setup and cleanup of service items, work independently during slower times, and perform safe work practices to ensure a clean environment. Handle simple customer complaints and inquiries while ensuring accuracy and completeness in all tasks. This role is available until October 23, 2026, with an hourly rate of $15.00 and tip eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects often
- Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Must be punctual with consistent attendance
- Must be able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred
- Equivalent experience may be substituted
- 1+ years of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred
