Job Summary
Catering Associate to support delivery, setup, and service at weddings, corporate events, graduation parties, and community gatherings. Responsibilities include delivering catering orders, setting up buffets and beverage stations, serving guests during full-service events, representing Old Carolina Barbecue with friendly service, ensuring food presentation and guest enjoyment, assisting with teardown and cleaning after events, handling occasional delivery-only catering orders, maintaining catering equipment, and following food safety guidelines. The role offers flexible scheduling, opportunities to earn tips, and a dynamic, fast-paced event environment across various venues.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of insurance
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Background Check
- Ability to lift and carry catering equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods during events
