Job Summary
Catering Associate in Back of House at City Museum with seasonal employment. Responsible for performing steps of guest service, creating high-quality menu products, assisting in menu preparation, estimating food consumption for events, executing safety and sanitation practices, maintaining kitchen and dining area cleanliness, monitoring temperatures, incorporating sustainable resources into culinary selections, and supporting Catering Supervisors on special projects. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35lbs. Flexible work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; ServSafe or Food Handling certification and HACCP knowledge preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Three years food preparation experience
- ServSafe or Food Handling Certified
- Knowledge of HAACP
