Job Summary
Assist with food preparation, basic cooking tasks, and meal service while maintaining clean, welcoming dining areas. Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and equipment, and help with setup, pack-down, and resetting service areas. Follow food safety, hygiene, and dietary requirements while working as part of a supportive, collaborative team. This practical, active role supports kitchen and dining operations at the Tea Gardens Centre for students, staff, and guests.
Required Qualifications
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Current (or willingness to obtain) Working with Children Check
- Commitment to food safety, WHS and child‐safe practices
- Child Safety Commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in catering, hospitality or food service (or a willingness to learn)
