Job Summary
Catering Assistants assist the Catering Sales Manager in acquiring, maintaining and servicing catering customers; manage the organization of events and catering orders; handle incoming calls and emails, update client lists, and help develop catering proposals and contracts. Responsibilities include greeting guests, ensuring a high-quality guest experience, overseeing catered events, coordinating with partners and managers, completing server training, following safety and sanitation guidelines, and maintaining documentation and materials. Must be able to stand for shifts, work various hours including weekends, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Strong communication, multitasking, teamwork, and customer-service skills are essential.
