Job Summary
Provide high quality, healthy meals for school children at Withnell Fold Primary School. Responsibilities include preparing the dining area for service (moving/setting up furniture, putting away), assisting in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages, and cleaning of equipment and catering areas. Must be able to work as part of a team, work under pressure, and exhibit good customer care. Prior catering and food preparation experience is desirable. Hours are Monday to Friday, term time only plus 4 days, 5 hours per week (1 hour per day) with variable hours depending on school meal uptake. DBS disclosure required if successful.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
- Good customer care skills
- Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable.

- The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). If successful you will be required to apply to the DBS for a 'disclosure'.
