Job Summary
Take meal orders from patients and visitors daily while observing dietary requirements listed on nurses' menus. Serve food and beverages to patients and visitors, presenting trays according to policy and promptly collecting used crockery. Offer refreshments before and after meals or at patient requests. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hospital ward. Work full-time hours (37.5 per week) across shifts including bank holidays. Full training and Disclosure and Barring Service checks are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise demanding workloads accordingly
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Full Training provided
