Job Summary
Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand event needs, recommend appropriate venues and offerings, and identify upsell opportunities. Create, process, and maintain Banquet Event Orders, contracts, and schedules while serving as a liaison between clients and internal departments. Coordinate wedding tastings, property tours, and site visits, then attend events to provide onsite support and ensure seamless execution. Collect payments, maintain accurate client records, and generate reports as requested. Assist with lead generation campaigns and represent the Ranch at networking functions. Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in hospitality, banquets, catering, event planning, or a related role
- Current Oregon Food Handler Card and OLCC service permit, or ability to obtain as required
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and event documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to quickly learn new technology and systems
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on event needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
